I was able to use one strip for two nails, even though each pack comes with 16. I liked how flexible these strips are, and are easy to file off the excess. The pack didn't come with a file, but I own one (coincidentally the one in the video) so it wasn't a problem. I suggest making sure some of the strip goes over the top of your nail, since the tips wear off the fastest. I used a top coat on one hand although it wasn't necessary.
I tried both sets I was sent. I loved how the glitter wasn't bumpy and didn't snag/catch on my clothes. Here are my nails after about 9 days:

Thanks Elle! I've always been too cheap to buy nail strips even though I really wanted to try them! Wow they lasted SO incredibly long, a lot longer than when my nail polish starts to chip! I've heard mixed reviews on nail strips, but you're my go-to beauty blog, so I'll trust your experience! I'm impressed they weren't chipped after 9 day. I had my first gel manicure recently (with the UV light), and it chipped the 9th day. =/
